I love this style of still-life photography – for the detail it reveals. For it’s ability to open my eyes!
The curves, the suede-like texture of the petals, the sense that light is emanating from within the perfectly locked bulb. All of these qualities I missed at the store as I quickly threw the tulips into a plastic sleeve.
There is something about this print that keeps me lingering. Even though I have looked at it many times, I am not convinced that I haven’t missed something.
