This is a shot I took inside the palace of Versailles, just outside Paris for my travel photography class. Although it looks like I got lucky and there were no tourists in its famous "Hall of Mirrors" actually there were tourists all over the hall (and in every frame I shot). I pulled a "tourist removal trick" which is part photography technique mixed with some Photoshop magic. You stand still and take a number of frames over a few minutes as people move through the hall, then you take them all into Photoshop and remove all the tourists by adding a layer mask and painting them away. It takes all of two minutes (I cover it in the class), but it works amazingly well.
