Arrived at Trillium Lake, waiting to see if the fog that we just passed was blocking the view of the majestic Mount Hood. Pines lining the road kept the answer hidden until after a walk to the shore. Sure enough, the fog had set in and only a few minutes ahead of our arrival. Mount Hood was once again covered from the eyes of Trillium. A cold 40 degree chill settled in as the sun began painting the sky. A break in the fog revealed the 11,000 foot wonder, if only for a moment. And now, that moment will forever be mine.
