Hi! Today I'm reposting an old work showing the a nightscape of the London Thames coast.
I'm blending here different exposures manually in Photoshop, loading them in a stack and then auto aligning them beroe playing with the layers order, blending modes, opacity and masks.
The treatment has been very tedious, I worked with 6 different exposures in RAW but with several blendin modes for some of them so at the end I used more than 20 layers!
I shot this scene in February in London from the Millenium Bridge, it depicts a night view of the Shard Tower, the Tower Bridge, the London Bridge in the background abd their reflections on the Thames in the foreground. The light beam on the left side in the sky comes from the dome of St Paul's Cathedral.
The tough side of this picture is that the Millenium Bridge was constantly moving with the people walking on it, so I had to stay there 30 minutes by -10ºC before having all my exposures sharp!!
