I had been telling myself, surely, surely there'll be other photographers out this morning - I mean, it's Dicky Beach and the infamous wreck of the S.S Dicky after all - one of the most photographed bits of coastline on the Sunshine Coast.

To my surprise, I had it to myself for more than half the morning, after which a fellow landscape shooter arrived. Nonetheless, a serene peaceful morning at a location which I'd never been to before. I'll be back another day to shoot the wreck again as well as adjoining areas of Caloundra, Moffat Beach and Currumundi!

I love the way Velvia 50 film renders moments like this - unmatched by digital and just has a "feel" to it that translates extremely well into print!
