The Old Calton Cemetary in Edinburgh is a fascinating place where most 18th and 19th century tombs and mausoleums are left to rot in their own juices. I was surprised to see a statue of Lincoln there, part of the Scottish-American Soldiers Monument in rememberance of a small number of Scotsmen who thought on the Union side in the American Civil War.
