Early summer in Bridlington, on the North East Heritage Coast of Yorkshire, while Paul was enjoying his fish and chips (a MUST when you go there), I was 'people scanning'.
Now I had spotted this couple earlier, sitting in the sunshine on the wall that separates the sea from the harbour, chatting and eating something.
Picking up my camera, they started to walk away, she still eating her cream bun, giving him her handbag to carry.
I thought I was *$?&^% too late, aah for 2 seconds more!!!
I took the shot anyway.
The words of this Beatles song swirled through my head:
When I'm 64

"When I get older, losing my hair, many years from now,
Will you still be sending me a Valentine, birthday greetings,
bottle of wine?
If I'd been out 'till quarter to three, would you lock the door?
Will you still need me, will you still feed me,
When I'm sixty-four?"

When I developed the film and saw this one, yes, another ‘difficult’ neg.
I think I came away with a better shot.
Circumstances, he?

And remember, a great photograph is mostly about emotion... (in my opinion).
Thanx and have a happy day, Magda, (*_*)
