'From the series Feelings and Emotions'.

(1930) Barney Bigard, Duke Ellington, Irving Mills

You ain't been blue; no, no, no.
You ain't been blue,
Till you've had that mood indigo.
That feelin' goes stealin' down to my shoes
While I sit and sigh, "Go 'long blues".

Always get that mood indigo,
Since my baby said goodbye.
In the evenin' when lights are low,
I'm so lonesome I could cry.
'Cause there's nobody who cares about me,
I'm just a soul who's bluer than blue can be.

When I get that mood indigo,
I could lay me down and die.

Beautifully sung by Nina Simone and others...

This is my youngest son, 19 and lovesick as you can only be at that age? He became quite detached and solitary for a while.
We had gone for a drive, through woods and arrived at this old military airfield,
He just walked over and stood like this for quite some time, not moving, I ached for him, he was hurting and there was very little I could do, except… be there.
The whole body language and stance languorously emanated sadness and loneliness.
A couple of years later he met the right young woman and they are happily married, I wonder if he even remembers this?
Another aspect of him!

Taken with the Canon AE1, in b&w and tinted Indigo in the darkroom.

Have a lovely day and thanx for your precious time, Magda, (*_*)
