This is my attempt at taking a picture of the Golden Gate Bridge with modern technology and making the picture appear as though it was taken on the day the bridge opened.

So the first day I planned to visit the GGB to capture my idea, it was bright and sunny...

So I regrouped and headed to Santa Cruz for some pictures of the high surf. The second day out to capture this shot was picture perfect for what I was looking for, low fog, with parts of the bridge visible but mostly shrouded in fog. So I set up the tripod and shot a series of shots without anything in the frame that would point to our modern world...

After capturing the image I used Lightroom for tonal, contrast and the addition of the grain. hope you all enjoy this look back at the GGB!!!
