Walt Trepashko

I have been an avid photojournalist since I first picked up a camera and traveled. Some of my earliest images were taken during a trip to Europe in 1973. I traveled with a Honeywell Pentax camera, 50mm Takumar lens, and hundreds of feet of bulk-load tri-x and plus-x film. When not on the road, at sea or in the air, I can be found at my photography studio in
southern California. During the 1980's I traveled through North Africa and photographed the Moslem world. As the last decade of the 20th century drew to a close, I visited and photographed many of the countries in Asia. Early in the 21st century, I sailed around the horn of South America and continued into Antarctica. As a professional, I usually work with digital cameras. When traveling the world I prefer film cameras, like Hasselblad or Nikon, to capture my creative images.
