I’m an amateur photographer, residing in a golden town named Welkom in the Free State Province, South Africa.
I am passionate about outdoor and wildlife photography. My interest in photography has started a couple of years back while on a hiking trip with some friends and ever since it became a passionate hobby. I joined our local photographic club SAVAS (St Andrews Visual Arts Society), and enjoy our fellow photographers and their work tremendously.
I decided to join the Photographic Society of South Africa (PSSA) and started to enter in at Salons (National Competitions) and have obtained my honours FPSSA, APSSA (Vers), EPSSA.
My favourite place to take wildlife photography is the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.
The Park is a large wildlife preserve and conservation area in southern Africa. The park straddles the border between South Africa and Botswana and about 38 000 square kilometres in size. Kgalagadi means place of thirst.
We are fortunate enough to live in this beautiful country with lots of photo opportunities and South Africa is any photographer’s (Amateur and Pro’s alike), dream
Hope you enjoy my work and stay cool!
