Trevor Black

I have been shooting weddings and headshots for over a decade. I started shooting at the age of nine when my mother gave me my first camera and told me I could stop time with it - I was hooked.

By the time I was able to take a course in school, I had advanced enough to actually co-teach the course. I studied photojournalism at Loyalist College in Belleville, then came back to Toronto and opened my first studio.

Photojournalism, at its core, is about telling stories. I look for scenes of emotion or intimacy, which say something about the subject that words can not. Weddings are the perfect setting for this style of photography.

Also, having grown up in the entertainment industry, I understand the unique needs of performers when it comes to their headshots. I know that no two performers are the same and works on displaying their talents through their headshots.

As a photographer, I am flexible and unobtrusive and do all that is needed so the customer is satisfied.
