Pete Marquess

Since I was a small child, visual stimulation has been an important factor in my life. From the stereo color nature slides a doctor used during eye therapy, to my first camera at eight years old. Also, several members of my family had a serious interest in photography, mostly recording memories of family events. One family member stands out as persueing photography on a more artistic level. My Uncle Tony was a fantastic photographer. As a teenager and young adult he had a really cool Black and White darkroom. As a young child I thought that was really cool. On my twelth birthday Tony gave me a beginner darkroom kit, and I WAS HOOKED.
