A Farmer's Tale

India is an agrarian country with mostly 50-60% of the population directly or indirectly dependent on agriculture . Agriculture in India is mostly attributed to the gambling with the monsoons. Government even though provide many subsidies to the farmers , do not often reach to them . Corruptions is at its peak now when we hear one or the large scams . Having said that the monsoons are unpredictable , Govt is slow in implementing many irrigations projects such as joining of the major rivers of India and also improving Rain water harnessing. With so many problems , the farmer take huge loans and resort to suicide when things get out of hand for them .
