I've always been a big fan of 500px because of their beautiful portfolio, amazing interface, intuitive workflow, passionate community, and not mention the superior image quality. I also have a SmugMug account, which I have been using mainly to store and my photos. So far, 500px has been by far the best portal to showcase my photo works. Flickr never attracted because of their cumbersome workflow and awful interface, even though it used to be the best photo-sharing site once upon a time.
On the other hand, I use Facebook quite heavily to share my photos with my friends, families, and fans; but the expectation is different there. Note that, I said "share" not "showcase".
Recently, Yahoo has announced the revamped Flickr site and I just wanted to give it a spin even though I was quite cynical and reluctant to do so.
