lisa's backyard

She started taking pictures to send to her son in Iraq to remind him of the beauty of home. The more times he went there, the better she became. She says, "it fills the gap for me, since after being diagnosed with Parkinsons, I was no longer a marketable florist." Taking photos fulfills her need to play with color and light. She loves all color. When light and color catch her eye, she picks up her camera and takes on the challenge. It has become so much a part of her life, her grandchildren think it's a law wherever grandma is, you have to stop and watch the sunset, a bird fly, the leaves turning green, the spider web or any other small detail in life.
