Rob Chamber

For me the most vital thing in photography is the transported feeling and the interpretation layer of a captured moment.

I'm currently working and living (b. 1986) as a freelance media designer in Berlin, Germany. At the end of 2015 I shot my first project and since then I'm a passionate beginner in spare-time photography. At the moment I'm transitioning from simple snapshots to more comprehensive conceptional pieces to both enhance my knowledge and broaden my portfolio.

The themes I predominantly persue are dark aesthetics in portrait, fashion, nude, and above all, experimental photography. I love uncomfortable photography with a moody, surreal almost horror appeal and everything that's weird. I'm currently discovering the possibilities of analogue experimental effects i.e. heat-deformed acrylic glass and other materials and intend to further develop this style in the future.
