Richard John Ford is a British photographer based just outside of London who started his journey in 2012 focusing on the style of candid street photography. After nearly four years Richard has developed a unique style of photography which focuses purely on the person in the frame with little distractions which in turn tells a story about the subject, he also likes to capture photos of people which end up being “timeless”.

Photography in Brighton

I had so much fun yesterday.

I headed to Brighton with the guys and girls from the "We Shoot People!" photography group.

In amongst taking photos of ourselves in “face in the walls” on Brighton Pier and taking photos of seaguls I managed to get some good street shots of the people of Brighton.

Brick Lane Market

While in the midst of an unseasonal heatwave here in England I joined up with the “We Shoot People!” photography group today to do some street photography in Brick Lane market.

It was a great day out, lots of people were out and about so I took lots of photos (over 290), of those photos (as always) I’ve uploaded the best ones so far to 500px and Flickr.

Portobello Road Market

It was a really nice day yesterday, the sun was out and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Yup, it was a perfect day to head down Portobello Market with the “We Shoot People!” street photography group, and start taking hundreds of photos.

A few hours of going through over 160 photos and I have now uploaded and edited the best ones.

So today I was supposed to go another meetup group to take some photos around Soho and Covent Garden but unfortunately the meetup was called off for an emergency, however I still made my way down to London to take some photos around Covent Garden and then Westminster.
