Located on the edge of the Hudson River, GPP was once a fully operational powerplant. Now it's been gutted and left for dead. We recently had the chance to explore what was left and we left impressed. The structure is massive and each section was different than the last.

Here are a few of the highlights: The view from atop the giant winch in the main section, the maze of catwalks for the coal conveyors, the view to the Hudson, and a fellow UrbEx'er taking it all in.

There's been an accident

It was late one night and while walking my dog I can across Elmo in a panic. On the ground around him his friends laid there still as could be. It was hard to tell if Elmo did this himself or if he happened upon it like I did.
