The weather during the Christmas holidays wasn’t very good. Grey skies and lots of rain. Only for today the forecast was better. Tomorrow there will be lots of rain again in The Netherlands. Winter has been quite wet until now.
During the day the weather and the light remained okay and I decided to go out to the Waddensea to take some pictures of the sunset at a good old spot near Ternaard with my friend Fokko van der Leest. I haven’t been there for a long time and wanted to go there to see if it was still the photogenic spot as it used to be. The light was gorgeous and the shapes in the mud-flats were as special as they used to be.
At sunset the light was great. A nice soft light shined over the mud-flats and created a very nice atmosphere. This was the last trip for 2011. I hope nature will also surprise us with this kind of conditions in 2012.
I wish everyone a happy and creative 2012 and hope you will enjoy photography even more than in 2011.
