Rose Klockner

I have been taking pictures all my life off and on with point & shoots but an interest in scrapbooking several years ago has led to the desire to take better photos in a wider range of interest. I moved out of point & shoot cameras around 2009 with the purchase of a "bridge" camera, a Fuji FinePix S1500, and loved it. A little over two years later I moved up to the Fuji HS20. I began by shooting everything that caught my interest and taking lots of classes.

I often combine photography with getting some exercise so I head out to our wonderful local metro parks system. While I still scrapbook, I now take many photos simply for the joy of photography. I’ve found my true love is nature photography, especially birds. I do like photographing interesting architecture and city skylines given the chance. I also like shooting activities, such as balloon festivals, and hayrides and apple butter making at a local living historical farm.
