My line: The real adventure begins when the road comes to an end.
Two years ago, for my 40th birthday, I took a two month sabbatical in New Zealand. My wife and I drove to every town on both islands. Aside from disconnecting, my secondary goal was to teach myself photography. These images are the fruits of my labors from that trip. I entered a novice and hoped to take at least one "world class" pboto. In the end, I was awarded a spot in Communication Arts Annual Photo Journal, the world's most prestigious juried photo competition. The lesson I learned is that you never stop learning and that you are capable of performing at the highest level if that is what you aspire to. Not entirely unlike Land Rover. After all, it's not how good you are, it's how good you want to be. I dream to shoot more shots for Range Rover. I love the beauty of nature and the world and studying photography while road tripping taught me that life is full of possibilities if you dream out loud. Please consider my entries. - Respectfully, Scott Robertson (Scott Roberton Photography)
