Scott W. Gonzalez
From Bellflower, California, moved to Las Vegas when I was 13 and been a resident ever since. One of the few Scottish-Mexicans that I know of.
I got into photography when I was in elementary school with 110 film cartridges. I moved on to 35mm film later on and worked in a darkroom in high school. Nothing like seeing images appear on paper sitting in developer.
While in the Army digital cameras came out. I stuck with film for a while longer. When I did go to digital I started with a 3mp Olympus, then to a Kodak 6mp. I quickly outgrew them. A Canon XTi was next which I used daily for about 6 years. I switched to Sony when they came out with their SLT cameras. I use almost strictly Minolta lenses in part because I remember my Father and Stepfather using Minoltas when I was growing up. My mainly photographed subject is my daughters. It is a passion and a sometimes stress relieving hobby.
I hope you enjoy the pictures half as much as I enjoyed taking them.
