I have been taking photographs most of my life. I learned the basics alongside my father including working as his assistant in our attic darkroom.
I made the move to digital early on, but I still think my best work was done on Kodachrome 64 and I miss the grain, the K-14 process, having to shoot wide open and be spot on with focus but also the discipline that 36 shots and a multi day turnaround created. Today I strive to reproduce this. My workflows are simple, and usually restricted to crop, HSL and lens corrections. That does not mean that I do not use filters and other image manipulation techniques I just choose to do them the analog way before the light hits the sensor.
My subjects are landscapes, architecture and quirky things I find around me every day.
