Isn't it cool that timeless images can be created by a mechanical device using a split second of light? Whether digital or film, photographs tell stories of time and place. I am inspired by the classic landscapes of Ansel Adams, the flower images of Ron van Dongen and Kenro Izu, and portfolio work from Michael Kenna, Tillman Crane, and others. But, just as much, I enjoy the photojournalism and fashion images of Fan Ho, portrait work from Phil Borges, and street photography from Daido Moriyama. My photos have been included in several books produced by photographers at Microsoft to benefit charitable organizations and I have worked with students in South Africa to produce a digital story video title “My Life, My Health” is also available in book format.
