Imagine all the people living life in peace...

I’m originally from Vancouver, British Colombia, and moved to Santa Barbara, California around the age of eight. My interest in photography began at about the same time. I spent most of my growing up years in an around the Santa Barbara area. At the age of seventeen I decided that the Army would be a good way to start my adult life, and thought I’d make it through a four-year enlistment without going to any wars. While I was in Saudi Arabia and Iraq during Desert Storm, I took many photos documenting my time there with an old 110 Instamatic.

My enthusiasm for photography resurfaced in 2006 as I began research into purchasing a new camera. I quickly realized that a career in photography was the path for me, and nothing less than an SLR would suffice. I soon decided on a Canon DSLR, and began my formal education in photography.

I now practice photography within a variety of disciplines, from portraits to architecture to product shoots and studio work. As a hobby I shoot sea and landscapes, and find that my connection to the environment is never stronger than when I’m out following my passion, getting my feet wet.
