I started out taking photos when my Mom got me a digital camera one year for christmas when I was young. I remember it well. A whopping 1.3mp! I took it to school all the time and would take photos with friends and photos of nature. After that, I always continued buying new cameras to document my life and the places I traveled to and the amazing things I got to see.
I got my first SLR back in 2007 while I lived in Banff and immediately loved going out and doing landscape and wildlife photos. Living in Banff really helped me tap into my passion for nature and having a camera made it just that much better.
I started working for a friend who was a wedding photographer and for a year and a half before moving to Australia, worked a day job, did weddings on weekends and then any time I could find in between, tried to find time to take photos for myself.
Now being in Australia, the scenes have changed so much compared to what I was used to. The beaches and sunsets are unbelievable and the scenes change so much the more you travel around!
I am grateful for all the amazing places I get to travel to and the things I get to see, and I am thankful I will always have a camera to capture the moments!
