I started getting fond of Photography in 2010, when attending my first course on photographic tecnique. I realised it wouldn't be enough for me, so I decided to attend another course by “Le Giraffe” Association, held by Giulio Nori (President of the Association) and Marco Cavallini (travel photographer), in Parma.
Seeking for new ways of improving, I met Giulio di Meo - freelance photographer – and I attended one of his courses: that's how I got introduced to the reportage photography. “Reportage” is the french verb for reporting, telling stories. I learnt how to put a story in images, analyzing it in its details, listening to the protagonists respectfully, without being intrusive.
In January 2012 I took a course about pictures managing and development, held by photographer Alfonso Prous. Thanks to this course, I managed to optimize times during the post-production phase, by an efficient cataloguing and pictures development.
When all this began, I didn't know what photographing really meant, but now as then I get completely captivated by a nice picture.
This passion grew unexpectedly, and I like to think that it was this passion to choose me.
