I am fortunate enough to work from home part of the time making this story and the images that I'm sharing possible.
My story begins on December 7th, 2012 as I was walking out to get the mail on a wonderful sunny December afternoon and heard what sounded like bees buzzing. After a little investigation I found the source coming from our Camellia bush in the front yard. I was a little surprised by this as I figured the cold weather and the lateness of the year would have driven them underground by now. Intrigued by all of this I thought I would investigate further. What follows are the fruits of that investigation.
These pictures below are but a small handful of the over 400 that I ended up taking over the next 30-45 minutes.
