My interest in photography was renewed while visiting Monhegan Island in Maine 25 years ago. I hold a B.A. in Fine Arts from Wheaton College and studied (film) photography with Paul Dumonoski at the Worcester Center for Crafts. My eye is drawn to ordinary, everyday objects and experience more than to epic vistas.
My adventures in “shooting water” began at the Cisco Campus in Boxborough, MA 8 years ago and since then I have shot thousands of water reflection abstracts. The moment-to-moment changes caused by light, seasons, and weather underscore the fleeting nature of all experience.
Curiosity about people, places, and things lends variety to my work. As a member of a Fine Art Photography Club in Concord, MA for 10 years, and the Worcester Photography Alliance for 3 years, my eye has continued to ripen and my enthusiasm for photography is still growing.
