I was born in Larisa and grew up in Heraklion Crete. I started taking photographs in 2006 when I bought my first dslr camera and started taking lessons at the hellenic photographic society of Crete. Six months later I participated in my first group exibition. Soon I realized, if I want to become better, I would have to listen and learn from a variety of people about photography. In February of 2007 I joined the photographic society of university of Crete (F.O.P.K).The kind of photography that interests me is “street photography”. I believe that street photography is about making scenes of everyday life seem unreal! Furthermore, I like to think that photography is my excuse to travel around the world. Since I was 18 I started travelling around Europe and experimenting on documenting faces, feelings and situations that were happening around me.My first travel was in Ireland and since then I’ve traveled to Italy, Spain, Holland, Cyprus, France, Czech Republic, Turkey, England and Germany. My last trip was in Uganda and Rwanda in East Africa. Currently I am travelling all around south America. Since 2007 I’ve organized, participated and set up seven group exhibitions for F.O.P.K. At 2009 I had the honor to organize and setup the exhibition of the worldwide known Magnum photographer Nikos Economopoulos.
Back in the early start of 2010 I made my very first exhibition outside of F.O.P.K called “a tale of three cities”.
"Photography is a journey to me, a Journey through countries, cultures, smells and voices. I like to listen to stories, play with kids, I like to smoke with people I don't know and laugh, laugh a lot!"
