1/2 computer geek. 1/2 creative geek.
A battle of the hemispheres, unable to sit still for long periods of time doing either creative or technical activities so a day of both brings satisfaction. Tabitha is a news junkie by early morning for Big D & Bubba, a syndicated country show on Premiere Radio networks and computer doctor by day, Owner of Nashville Computer Guru. She enjoys a slow drink of creative juices, including reading topics of theology and science, writing poems, song lyrics and passionate ranting and most common looking at photography of all genera’s always striving to do it better the next time with a end of the day downtime watching of Family Guy, Daily Show and Colbert Report.
Tabitha moved to Nashville in 2002 after growing up in the corn belt of Northwest Ohio near Lima, the basis of the show “GLEE”. Tabitha enjoys the intersection of creativity and hub of technological entrepreneurship found in the unique and friendly culture of Nashville.
Tabitha enjoys traveling, often alone, as she is able to fit a week’s worth for the common vacationer in a weekend of high mileage, fast paced, sleep deprived trips in an effort to see and photograph as much as possible. If she isn’t sun burnt, exhausted and sore then it wasn’t a good vacation.
Tabitha always is adding more to the to do list then what is taking off. Never stopping for long, she has done a lot in my life and got so much more to do. Life goals of becoming a pilot and flying as a means of looking at the world differently and traveling the country in a RV.

ARTIST STATEMENT | I use the arts such as a means of self-expression and exploration – sometimes a photograph I capture will illustrate reality or perhaps even an outlet from reality. My photography is sometimes an abstract of my mood or a call of appreciation for what is around me. With each new photo I can recapture a memory once lived, or an personal interpretation of the ordinary.
“Cameras don’t take great pictures, people do.”
Often people will say what camera do you have, such good photos. Well the photographer might have a little role in the way the photo turns out. In fact some popular photos of mine were taken on a $8 disposable Kodak camera or a 6.1 mp Kodak camera in 2005.
A majority of the photos are taken with the following gear.
1. Canon EOS 5D Mark II 21.1MP
2. Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L series lens
3. Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM Ultra Wide Angle Zoom Lens
4. B+W 77mm Kaesemann Circular Polarizer with Multi-Resistant Coating on all lenses
5. Shot everything in RAW format, Mostly use Adobe Lightroom 4 for editing, Adobe Photoshop CS6 for Panoramas, Perfect Photo Suite 7 by onOne for fine tuning select photos
