photography critics

Published July 12th, 2011

Instead of just clicking DISLIKE button, why not leave a constructive criticism on photos ? :)

I don't do this for living, it's my hobby, never studied photography and to receive constructive criticism on photos or any suggestions are appreciated :) Regards

Just spotted this post Tamara, I too am reluctant to give a critique on other members work, in the past on another photo site I suggested that the horizon was not level on a landscape image. I also remarked on the lovely composition and lovely location! the member removed my comment, removed the image and replaced it with a edited image with the horizon levelled and the removed me from their friends list!! I agree that your images are lovely!!! Pete

You do what you do. Your connected to your subject matter. What else matters?
Make your images, I for one enjoy them.

I personally find constructive criticism quite difficult to execute without it sounding like a backhanded compliment. 'I like your photograph, but......'

I wouldn't want my criticism to sound negative as to be discouraging. I guess the dislike button is the easy way out. That being said, criticism is the only way we grow.

In any case, your gallery is wonderful! :-)
