I'd like to say, like others, that 'I always had a passion for photography', but mine was more like a slow-burning fire: there, under the layer of more pressing activities of daily life, and just about keeping alive. Did my share of darkroom work during my student years, and enjoyed the black and white process from end to end. Finally switched to digital in 2004, and I only print pictures once a year...
Decided to show some of my pictures to people other than my dear family and friends, and see if other people like them too. So here I am, at your mercy! :-) Comments welcome, detailed comments even more welcome - many thanks in advance.
I rarely touch my pictures (and I'm limiting that to cropping!), I truly believe that what we capture, we capture, and we must improve our skills in that, rather than spend precious time in working on a few things - life's too short!
