Mark Jones

Hi all, I have been involved with wildlife, conservation and education for over 14 years now; mostly in South Africa, but also in the UK. I have done guiding, wildlife rehabilitation, lodge management, zookeepering (in the UK), free-flighted bird shows; and am currently show manager at a bird park, running free-flighted, natural routine shows. Although this profile is set up as me, I cannot take all the credit. My girlfriend and I do this together and there are her photos as well as mine on here. I am also colour blind, so her help when I edit is very necessary. Neither of us have any formal training in photography, but we truly enjoy the subject and it has also helped us tremendously to learn so much more about wildlife; certainly heightening our respect, seeing these animals so close and clear. With both of us working wildlife, we also suffer fund issues and so we only have one lens that we kind of use for all the photos at the moment (which of course limits us. We are itching for more lenses but cannot afford any right now); which is the Canon 50-250mm lens. I hope you all enjoy our photos as much as we do.
