Tom Bell



Tom Bell is an award-winning fine art photographer, residing in southern Illinois. He has been a photographer most of his life and has been involved with digital imaging since the early 1990’s. He is know for his cultural photographs of Mayan Indians in Guatemala, in addition to landscapes and other fine art images in Guatemala, the United States, and Europe. He works in both black & white and color, with a preference for black & white images. He is a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP). Bell is a full-time college administrator at John A. Logan College in Carterville, Illinois where he is Associate Dean for Media Services & Telecommunications. He was named a Fulbright Scholar to Guatemala in 1991, where he taught communications at Rafael Landívar University. He has worked as an educator, journalist, and television producer.
