My name is Twan Verrijt. I got seriously occupied with photography around 2008 after buying my first DSLR camera; a Pentax K10D. I have now changed this for a Pentax K5 which I find a real pleasure to work with. One of the things I like in photography is that there are so many specific fields in which there is so much to discover. Although I like to keep a broad perspective, I find that light and form are central themes in much of my work. Modern architecture is one of those constant challenges. Nowadays I postproces most of my photo’s, mainly in Lightroom and Photoshop. Sometimes just minor adjustments are sufficient, but other photo’s get a serious makeover. I’m not easily satisfied with the basic first results, so I tend to work on them until it just feels right.
