Hi! I'm professional artist – muralist and designer. I make my living mostly by painting murals... Photography – what started as a business necessity ( taking shots for my portfolio, because none of the "professionals" couldn't satisfy my requirements:) - became to be my passion #1 and supplementary source of income :))) My first photo I took with my first camera... "Smena 15" ... when I was 12 y.o. Since then I had try Zenit E, zenit TTL, kiev's 88 & 90, fed's, horizon, polaroid, pentax, minolta (still have my good old DX 11), pentacon 6, canon eos elan, nikon d1, canons 10d - 50d... etc. etc... Today I take a pictures with my Canon 5D mark III and 1D MARK IV... My favorite genres: landscape, portrait, fashion, boudoir, travel photography and of course, documenting my main job - murals.

January 12/ 2013, Noon (12:00)

Coop*** photo-shoot “Raptors in flight” and “static” portraits of the birds of pray.

Where: Canadian Raptor Conservancy.

What to expect:

Owls: Barn Owl, Great horned owl, Snowy owl.

Eagles: Bald eagle, Red tailed Hawk, Harris Hawk, Kestrel, Lanner Falcon.

The owners of the conservancy can not guaranteed that all 100% of the birds will fly, but usually we have 5–6 birds flying several times and 4–6 birds for the static shots.

I will recommend to arrive at the location around 11: 00 – 11:20 the latest, so you can prepare the settings on your cameras and do some test shoots of Golden and Bald eagles, that are perched. We expect to start shooting the birds in flight around noon and proceed with the static shoots until 3pm. (15:00).

What to prepare:

1. Winter clothing ¬– warm coat (parka, sheepskin etc. ☺)))

2. Thermos with a hot drink ☺

3. Photo camera – for the best results preferably DSLR.

Recommended lenses: 70–200; 100-400; 80–200; 2 ...
