Fascinated by creative art work for a long time, my passion for creating illustrations began to blossom upon receipt of my first airbrush at the age of 15.
Inspired by the photorealistic art of Meinrad Froschin and the great illustrator Luis Royo I started to focus on technical aspects of classic airbrush technique. After gathering some experience I started to experiment with digital media – in the early stages with low success. As soon as I bought my first graphic tablet and Corel Painter IX license fascination hit me and airbrush turned into digital art. A few years and three Painter versions later I discovered youtoube.com and its tutorials for myself. In November 2012 I switched to Adobe Photoshop CS6 and started to create my own ideas instead of using other photographer’s stock photos. This was the start of my new passion: studio photography.
Since 2013 I organize my own shootings and express my creativity with combining photography and digital image editing. Jurek Gralak
