I grew up following my grandparents around their photography studio and learning a bit about darkroom work. I practiced a little photo-journalism in high school and college before going to work in a one-hour photo-lab. I got out of college and started a full-time job. About the time digital photography entered the scene, I stepped away from the camera and took a 20+ year hiatus. I re-discovered photography, this time in a digital format in 2011 and have been infatuated since then. Love the medium, love the new technology. It's nice to re-discover a passion that has laid dormant for over two decades. An added benefit is infusing my daughter with that same enthusiasm and watching her blossom as a photographer capable of holding her own in a very crowded market.
