I have always been interested in photography and things that go fast! My grandfather worked as a photo engraver at the Cleveland Plain Dealer and maybe that’s why I like photojournalistic styles of imaging. I started photographing motorsports professionally at Daytona Int Speedway in 1987 and I was fortunate to be able to do that until 2006 photographing many exciting events at Daytona, Talladega , Darlington and Homestead.

At the end of 1997 I was fortunate to start working at Kennedy Space Center as a photographer documenting the buildup and postflight disassembly of the solid rocket boosters (SRB's). This work also took me to other NASA locations such as Johnson Space Center (JSC) and Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC). Every week was a learning experience and I was able to work with an incredible group of people over the years. I continued on through the end of the space shuttle program. Through a combination of companies I’ve worked for and other associations I’ve taken photos for UPI, WireImage, Getty Images, Aviation Week & Space Technology, Air & Space, AP, GM, Ford, Pepsi, Gatorade, United Space Alliance and USBI.

I have been able to work with a lot of great photographers along the way! Hopefully I’ve been able to help them as much as they’ve helped me. I’m still learning as things in this media are constantly changing.
