I’m Yari, I practice photography since 2008, trying to learn from others and also by myself. I love to experiment new techniques and new ways to produce interesting images. I love how some images are able to play with our brains, that’s why I always try to use principles of semiotics of the image in my photo shoots.
My first love has been architecture photography, then I forced myself to broaden my horizons, so I started also taking pictures of landscapes, events and people in general… but you know, you can never forget your first love, and in fact in all my shoots I look for simplicity and order, perhaps because they are increasingly rare and always complicated elements to find and to isolate from their context. I firmly believe that many things, although evident, can not be seen by everyone until someone photographs them.
I collaborate with phlibero, one of photography’s most dynamic associations of Torino, that is also the city where I live.
I collaborate also with ilmondochecipiace.it, where I write monthly articles about photography.
