Akshaya Patra - The mid day meal program started by the ISCKON , feeds over a million hungry children across 8500 schools in India. what started as a community program has grown to become one of the worlds largest humanitarian projects impacting the lives of millions in the sub continent.

The mid day meal gives independence to thousands of families struggling to make ends meet and helps children continue school, who would have otherwise dropped out of school to support their families.
