Scotland is a great place to visit and photograph and I'm lucky to have lived here most of my life (with the exception of a year in Boston and a year in Sydney). Currently the Visit Scotland website has been running a photography competition which I've decided to enter. People seem to be either on the side of "no competitions" or "every competition" so I'll just need to wait and see which side of the fence I end up on.

In the mean time I've added the colour version of the Glasgow University Cloisters as my main entry and hopefully it'll get some recognition.

Glasgow University Cloisters - BW

Ok, I know that I've shot the University Cloisters loads of time before but I was there on Tuesday again with a pal and couldn't help doing it again. I really like this view point and it was nice to have the doors at the far end opened up. Also there was less light outside which prevented the lateral archway highlights being blown out.
